Alec Watson
"Photographer Alec Watson" is the same Alec Watson as the reasonably well known Canadian record Producer/Engineer. Leaving behind a music career that earned him 1 Platinum record, 4 Gold records, 4 Top Tens for writing, a #1 selling record, and national nominations as Producer and Engineer of the year, Alec made the move to full-time photography in 2006.
"There are a surprising number of similarities between the arts of music and photography; especially from the perspective of production. Both require technical knowledge on how to capture an analog medium through a digital device and both require a great deal of creativity and control. The biggest difference is - I ALWAYS wanted to be a photographer. It really suits my personality and skill set far better than music. I still play music, but I work hard at photography and photoshop everyday- AND LOVE IT!"

Suzanne Teresa
Graduating with honors and earning 2 Agfa Photography Awards as top visual artist, Suzanne completed her University degree in 2005. These days, work for Suzanne is split between the newly completed Nanaimo studio, boasting panoramic views of the Georgia Strait, and traveling internationally for commercial shoots.
"I avidly took pictures as a teen; I didn't have wall paper or paint in my room, I had photos. It has been a surprisingly fast transition from university photography student to full-time traveling commercial photographer. Having worked on both sides of the lens, I know what it's like to be "under the microscope" and I think that helps me to get the best out of people, whether they are models, artists or business owners. These days I get to leave our fabulous home in Nanaimo and travel the world as a photographer shooting commercially- I wake every morning and think:' I have the best job in the world!'"
